School Rules
LOVE YOURSELF | Uniform & PE Attire | Wear prescribed uniform/PE attire only. No modifications allowed. PE T-shirt worn during house meetings, PAL days and designated PE days, paired with school PE shorts or skorts. Must be tucked in neatly. |
Sun Hat | Part of school uniform. Strongly encouraged during outdoor activities such as learning journeys. | |
Name Tag | Must be worn on school shirt/blouse and PE T-shirt. Males: 1 cm above chest pocket. Females: left side, slightly above school crest. Sew border after ironing for durability. | |
Shoes & Socks | Black school shoes with black laces only. Sports shoes permitted on CCA day (Tuesday) only. School or plain white socks must be above the ankles. Socks and shoes available from uniform supplier. | |
Hair | All students: hair must be well-combed, not coloured, dyed, highlighted or gelled. Males: short, neat, clean-shaven, fringe above brow line, hair must not touch ears, eyebrows or collar, no spiky styles. Females: neatly trimmed, braided or tied with black/brown accessories, fringe above eyebrows, hair must not touch ears or collar. | |
Accessories | No jewellery, ornaments or fashion accessories. Female students may wear one pair of small ear-studs only. | |
Nails | Fingernails must be short and clean. No nail polish or nail stickers. | |
Punctuality | Be punctual for all school activities. In school hall or classroom for morning assembly by 7.30 a.m. | |
Mobile Devices | Not to be used during school hours, including recess, CCA and after-school programmes. Must be switched off and kept in school bag. May only be used at designated areas (basketball court, playground, learning spaces in front of General Office). Must be used responsibly to access non-offensive content and communicate with parents/guardians only. Students are personally responsible for their devices. School not liable for loss or damage. Devices confiscated for non-compliance and returned to parents/guardians. (Does not apply to non-telecommunication devices e.g. POSB Smart Buddy Watch) | |
Learning | Always display a positive attitude towards learning. | |
LOVE OTHERS | Care & Respect | Take care of teachers, schoolmates, school staff and family. Be courteous, kind and respectful towards elders. |
Considerate Behaviour | Speak softly and move quietly. Behave in an orderly manner so that others can enjoy learning. | |
Safety | No weapons or weapon-like items that are used or intended to cause harm are to be in any student's possession at any time. | |
LOVE OUR SCHOOL | School Pride & Conduct | Take pride in your work. Give your best in all tasks. Be a good ambassador so that others will speak well of the school. |
Canteen Conduct | Eat only in the canteen. Queue orderly for food and drinks. Keep tables and benches clean during and after meals. Return all utensils to receptacles provided. | |
Cleanliness & Property | Maintain cleanliness in all parts of the school premises, including classrooms. Handle furniture and equipment with care. No vandalism of school or public property. | |
Play & Safety | Abide by safe rules of play. Sports and outdoor activities only in authorised areas. | |
LOVE OUR COUNTRY | National Anthem & Pledge | Singapore citizens must sing the National Anthem and recite the Pledge with right fist placed over the heart. |
Flag Raising Ceremony | All students stand at attention throughout the ceremony. | |
National Pride | Take pride in our nation. |
