Celebrating Excellence in Education!
Congratulations to Mr Lim Yang Jun on receiving the prestigious Outstanding Youth in Education Award (OYEA) 2025!
As our school's Student Well-Being Coordinator, Mr Lim has made remarkable strides in championing inclusive education through innovative initiatives. His leadership of the Purple Parade has fostered greater understanding of diverse learning needs, while his creative use of dramatisation techniques has transformed the classroom experience.
Beyond teaching, Mr Lim leads the school's Counselling, TRANSIT and Special Education Needs team, working tirelessly to strengthen support systems for students and collaborating with family service centres to create comprehensive support networks.
The OYEA recognises exceptional young educators who demonstrate remarkable passion and dedication in nurturing our next generation. Mr Lim exemplifies the spirit of this award through his unwavering commitment to student welfare and inclusive education.

Nomination for 2025 Distinguished Chinese Language Teachers Awards |
Organised by Lianhe Zaobao (ZB) and ZBSchools, the awards aim to give due recognition to deserving Chinese Language (CL) teachers who have shown exemplary efforts toward the teaching of Chinese language and culture in the past year. The awards also affirm the efforts of teachers who have successfully inculcated in their students an appreciation for Chinese language and culture. The Distinguished Chinese Language Teachers Awards 2025 is co-organised by Singapore Centre for Chinese Language, The Society of Chinese Education Singapore, Singapore Chinese Teachers’ Union and Singapore Middle School Chinese Teachers’ Association, with support from the Ministry of Education. All CL teachers from primary and secondary schools, pre-universities and junior colleges are eligible for nomination (except for past winners). Winners will be presented with a trophy and cash prize of $1,500 each. ![]() |

Call for Nominations: Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award 2025
The Arif Budiman Malay Language Teacher Award (AGAB) 2025 is an annual award jointly organised by the Malay Language Council, Singapore (MBMS), Malay Language Teachers’ Association (PGBM), Berita Harian (BH) and Malay Language Learning and Promotion Committee (MLLPC).
This award recognises outstanding Malay Language teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of the Malay Language in our school.
We would like to invite students and parents to nominate Malay Language teachers from our school for the awards, as an affirmation and encouragement to them.

Call for Nominations: Inspiring Teacher of English Award 2025
Nominations for the annual Inspiring Teacher of English Award are now open. Presented by the Speak Good English Movement and The Straits Times with the support of the Ministry of Education, the Award has two categories – the Teaching Award and the Leadership Award. This award is open to all in-service teachers of English Language. The Award has two categories – the Teaching Award and the Leadership Award.

The Most Inspiring Tamil Teachers’ (MITT) Award recognises Tamil Language teachers who have made significant contributions to the teaching and learning of TL. Nominees should be:

Teachers who nurture students’ interest in Tamil Language by using innovative methods, including the effective use of educational technology to make lessons more engaging and interactive; and

Dedicated and passionate teachers who demonstrate a keen interest in students’ well-being while developing 21st Century Competencies for them to be future-ready.
